Cognitive neuroscience is an explosively developing scientific field that enables researchers from different areas to combine their theoretical frameworks, methodologies, empirical results and insights in a joint effort to answer the question, how the mind emerges from the working of the brain.

One of the core questions in cognitive neuroscience is how one retains and manipulates in one’s mind the information relevant to the task at hand - the ability known as working memory. That will be the subject of the Summer School
