Young Neuroscientists Forum Ljubljana '13

27th September 2013, Faculty of Medicine, Ljubljana, Slovenia

Young Neuroscientists Forum Ljubljana '13 (YNFL'13) is an introductory event into SiNAPSA Neuroscience Conference '13 (SNC'13; September 27-29, 2013, Ljubljana, Slovenia).

A unique forum

To capitalize on the presence of outstanding scientists gathering at the SNC'13, the YNFL'13 will be organized as an introductory event of SNC'13. YNFL'13 will provide young neuroscientists at the beginning of their career with an opportunity to present their work, receive invaluable feedback, listen to eminent speakers, look into job opportunities, establish working relationships, and build friendships.

Present your work

Based on the review of all abstracts accepted for presentation at the YNFL'13, a selection of eight was made and their authors were invited to give a brief (10 minute) oral presentation of their research at the student symposium on Friday September 27th, between 8:30 and 10:30. A two-member committee will select one of these eight presentations for the "Best YNFL'13 Presentation" award and the winner will be announced during the closing ceremony of the SNC'13.

All participants with accepted abstracts will present their work in the form of poster presentations. Presenters are advised to mount their posters on Friday morning and leave them up until the closing of the SNC'13. There will be guided student presentations by the posters during poster sessions between 12:00 and 13:30. All SNC'13 participants will be invited to submit their vote for the best poster and the winner of the "best poster" award will be announced during the closing ceremony of the SNC'13.
