Posredujemo obvestilo Mreže evropskih nevroznanstvenih šol NENS (Network of European Neuroscience Schools):

We would like to get your attention on the NENS Stipends for Training Stays. These are fellowships awarded three times a year to Master and PhD students registered in NENS schools. The NENS Stipends allow them to perform a methodological training of one to three months in a laboratory affiliated to a NENS school, in a different European country. There is a map on-line showing the NENS stipends awarded from 2007. The deadline to apply for a NENS Stipend is October 15th 2011.

We take the opportunity to share with you these two interesting announcements:

The Call for Applications is open for “EXCELLENT PAPER IN NEUROSCIENCE” AWARD 2011. Submission deadline for applications: September 15, 2011. For further information, please visit us on the web www.neuron-eranet.eu. Call text: www.neuron-eranet.eu/_media/Announcement_excellent_paper_2011.pdf

At the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour we are organizing a two-day neuroscience conference for PhD students to be held 13-14 October 2011 in Nijmegen, the Netherlands: the Donders Discussions (www.ru.nl/dondersdiscussions). The idea behind this international conference is to enable students to interactively get to know each other, and to present and discuss their work in all aspects of neuroscience. Last year this conference was organized for the third time, and with over 150 participants from all over Europe, it turned out to be a great success. The deadline is September 1st, but this deadline can be earlier when the limit of 150 participants is reached. So be on time!
