Deadline for three IBRO funding programmes: February 1, 2012

The online applications for the following three funding programmes are now open, with a deadline of February 1, 2012:

  1. IBRO Research Fellowships 2013, which include the John G Nicholls and Rita Levi-Montalcini fellowships, support post-doctoral training to applicants under the age of 45 for up to one year. The funding level for a 12-month, non-renewable fellowship is 35,000 euros. Application deadline: February 1, 2012.

  2. The IBRO International Travel Grants Programme provides support of up to 1250 euros to high quality neuroscientists from diverse geographic and scientific areas (US/Canada Region excluded) who wish to participate at international neuroscience meetings taking place between July and December 2012. Application deadline: February 1, 2012.

  3. The SfN-IBRO Travel Grants Programme offers travel fellowships of up to $2000 US for the Society for Neuroscience meeting (October 13-17, 2012, in New Orleans, USA) for neuroscientists under the age of 35 who are currently working and living in a resource-restricted country – those defined by the World Bank as low, lower-middle, or upper-middle income. Application deadline: February 1, 2012.
