Symposium announcement: Joint ICGEB – ALS Society of Canada Symposium on Inflammation & Proteinopathy in ALS/FTD

Dear colleagues,

We are excited to announce our symposium: Joint ICGEB – ALS Society of Canada Symposium on Inflammation & Proteinopathy in ALS/FTD Spectrum Disorder, which is planned to be held LIVE from June 30 - July 3, 2022 in Rijeka, Croatia.

Notably, an ONLINE meeting interface will be available for participants unable to join us live.

The registration is now OPEN at http://www.optineurin-neuroimmunology.uniri.hr/als-rijeka-2022-symposium.html.

15 travel grants will be offered for young researchers who are ICGEB member state nationals and are currently not residing in Croatia (https://www.icgeb.org/joint-icgeb-als-society-of-canada-symposium-croatia-2022/). FEBS Journal prizes will be available for the best oral and poster presentations by the young researchers.

Please consider registering as early as possible as (live) participant number is limited. Abstracts can be submitted while registering or afterwards by email (deadline May 15).

  • €150 for established researchers and clinicians from ICGEB Member States
  • €250 for established researchers and clinicians from non-ICGEB Member States
  • €50 for ONLINE symposium
